Opening on October 20th, 2018 at Gristle Gallery in Brooklyn, New York is the group exhibition “Killing Jar.”
This show examines the practice of cataloging the natural world through painstakingly detailed illustration and careful specimen preservation. Artists explore the solemn majesty of natural history collections as well as larger themes of biodiversity and conservation.
Artists include (Above): Bayla Arietta, Amy Guidry, Miles Browne and Linnea Strid.
The exhibition will be on view until November 24th, 2018.
